Position Summary We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and takes pride in providing honest recommendations and quality workmanship. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-split systems. Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups. Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and combustion issues. Explain repair options and recommendations clearly to homeowners. Complete service documentation accurately using mobile software. Follow EPA, manufacturer, and company safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle. Participate in an on-call rotation (if applicable). Qualifications Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience. EPA Universal Certification required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience with refrigerant charging, airflow, electrical diagnostics, and combustion analysis. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications NATE Certification (preferred but not required). Experience with Rheem, Mitsubishi, and other major HVAC brands. Knowledge of heat pumps, dual-fuel systems, and mini-splits. Familiarity with digital gauges, vacuum pumps, combustion analyzers, and modern diagnostic tools. Why Join Utah Climate Pros?
