Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead HVAC Installer to spearhead our installation projects and ensure top-tier service delivery. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of skilled technicians, oversee complex HVAC system installations, and ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations. Your expertise in HVAC systems, schematics, and mechanical knowledge will drive successful project completion while fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and technical proficiency in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. Duties Lead and coordinate HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance on installation techniques, safety protocols, and best practices. Interpret technical schematics, HVAC design plans, and mechanical drawings to execute precise installations. Perform complex equipment repairs, including refrigeration units, boilers, and appliances, ensuring optimal operation. Conduct field service visits for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems across various properties. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs or modifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to construction, plumbing, ammonia refrigeration systems, and property maintenance. Experience Proven experience in construction and HVAC installation with a strong background in service technician roles. Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including refrigeration repair and ammonia refrigeration. Hands-on experience with schematics interpretation, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, and mechanical troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and appliance servicing. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred. Familiarity with field service operations involving property maintenance or air conditioning systems is highly desirable.
