Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical services. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help keep our clients comfortable and safe while supporting property maintenance and equipment repair needs across various commercial and residential settings. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage or water supply connections. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or fabrication. Repair and service appliances and mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service visits to client sites. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports of all work performed for accountability and future reference. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, property maintenance, and field service operations. Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R systems including refrigeration and ammonia refrigeration. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans effectively. Skilled in plumbing, boiler operation, equipment repair, welding, and general maintenance tasks. Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; capable of troubleshooting electrical issues within HVAC systems. Experience working with appliance repair or property maintenance tasks is a plus. Valid driver license with a clean driving record; experience operating HVAC/R equipment in various environments is preferred.
