We specialize in the installation, service, and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems , working with industry-leading equipment. Job Summary JM Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This position follows a rotational travel schedule of 10 days on / 4 days off and requires regular out-of-town travel, including air travel . Candidates must be comfortable working away from home for extended periods and flying to job sites as needed. Responsibilities Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems Work on Trane commercial equipment , including RTUs, VAV systems, and associated controls Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings Assist with system start-ups, testing, and commissioning Complete service reports, work orders, and job documentation accurately Maintain safety compliance and professional standards on all job sites Travel to job sites on a 10-day on / 4-day off rotation , including flying Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of commercial HVAC/refrigeration experience required EPA Certification Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in remote job locations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Willingness and ability to travel extensively and fly for work Comfortable being away from home for 10 consecutive days Work Schedule 10 days on / 4 days off Out-of-town travel is required during work rotation Flights provided as needed for job locations Per diem
