Residential HVAC Installer - Apprentice / Journeyman Taylor HVAC Sandy, UT $22-$30 per hour (DOE) Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Overtime Available Looking for a company that values quality over shortcuts? Taylor HVAC is a growing residential HVAC company serving homeowners throughout the Wasatch Front. We're looking for a motivated Residential HVAC Installer (Apprentice or Journeyman ) who wants to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in the HVAC industry. Whether you already have a few years of experience or you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'll provide the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Lead Installer who believes in doing the job right. If you're dependable, hardworking, and take pride in quality workmanship, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do Assist with residential HVAC retrofit installations Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork Learn proper installation techniques and airflow principles Fabricate and install sheet metal components Run line sets, flue pipe, gas pipe, drain lines, and low-voltage wiring Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate professionally with homeowners and coworkers Occasionally assist with light commercial HVAC installations QualificationsRequired Positive attitude and strong work ethic Mechanical aptitude Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders Willingness to learn and follow established installation procedures Preferred 1-5 years of residential HVAC installation experience EPA Certification Sheet metal experience Basic knowledge of commercial HVAC systems Ability to read tape measures and construction drawings Pay & Benefits $22-$30/hour depending on experience Performance bonus opportunities Paid holidays Paid time off Company uniforms Ongoing training and mentorship Opportunity for advancement into Lead Installer positions Stable, year-round work Why Work at Taylor HVAC?
