The Position We're seeking an experienced HVAC professional who is equally comfortable turning a wrench, troubleshooting complex systems, working with homeowners and business owners, and recommending the right solutions when equipment should be repaired or replaced. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, communicates well with customers, and understands that trust—not pressure—is what closes sales. This is a hands-on field position with significant opportunity for advancement into a leadership role as the company grows. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems Troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units and split systems Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and related equipment Perform preventative maintenance and service agreements Present repair and replacement options honestly and professionally Generate replacement opportunities through excellent customer service Build long-term relationships with homeowners, property managers, and business owners Assist with commercial estimates and project planning when needed Help establish field procedures and maintain high workmanship standards Support the hiring and mentoring of future technicians as the company expands Qualifications Minimum 7 years of HVAC experience preferred Strong residential diagnostic and repair experience Commercial HVAC service experience strongly preferred EPA Universal Certification Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently without constant supervision Excellent customer communication skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Sales experience or the ability to confidently educate customers on repair versus replacement options Comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and digital work orders Who Will Thrive Here This role is ideal for someone who: Wants to help build a company from the ground up Takes ownership instead of waiting for direction Enjoys working in both residential and commercial environments Has an entrepreneurial mindset Wants unlimited growth rather than waiting years for promotions Believes customer trust is the foundation of every successful business What We Offer Performance-based compensation with unlimited earning potential Opportunity to grow into a Service Manager or Operations leadership role Direct access to ownership with the ability to influence company decisions A startup environment where your contributions truly matter The chance to help build something meaningful from day one If you're looking for another job with a large corporation, this probably isn't the right fit.
