Job Description
About us Commonwealth Heating & Cooling is a quickly growing family
- owned HVAC company that was established in 2005.
Responsibilities:
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair residential (occasional commercial) heating and cooling systems.
- Respond to service calls to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues
- Build and install HVAC ductwork
- Ensure all work is in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards
Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in residential HVAC industry or equivalent combination of vocational experience.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and install/ service HVAC equipment.
- Ability to boil down complex mechanical issues into simple terms for customers
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment repair and maintenance
- Skilled in designing HVAC systems for optimal performance
- Mechanical aptitude to service various types of equipment effectively
- Must be able to work independently as well as within a team setting.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug test.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime and occasional on-call shifts.
