Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Residential and Commercial Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems in both residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Duties Install, service, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform electrical system diagnostics to identify faults accurately. Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to execute precise system installations and repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical systems including pumps, fans, compressors, and ammonia refrigeration units with mechanical knowledge and welding skills when necessary. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal operation and extend system lifespan. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems when required, including pipe fitting and leak repairs. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions for property maintenance needs. Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference. Operate hand tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols; possess or obtain EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Assist with HVAC system design projects by interpreting schematics and contributing technical insights. Experience Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC residential and commercial environments with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, refrigeration systems, and boiler operation. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC system installation, maintenance, repair procedures, and building automation systems. Hands-on experience with plumbing work related to HVAC setups is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Pay:
