HVAC Maintenance Technician Brown's Heating, Air, Plumbing & Electrical is looking for a dependable, professional, and customer-focused HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. Position Responsibilities As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing thorough heating and cooling system maintenance while providing an exceptional experience for every customer.
Responsibilities include:
Perform complete heating and cooling system maintenance and inspections Identify worn, failed, or potentially failing components Properly use hand tools, HVAC testing equipment, and electronic meters Inspect systems for safety, efficiency, performance, and potential concerns Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers Take meaningful and accurate jobsite and equipment photos Enter clear, detailed notes for every service visit Accurately document equipment model and serial numbers Present appropriate repair, accessory, and maintenance membership options to customers Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle Maintain proper truck inventory and care for company tools and equipment Follow company procedures and safety standards Provide professional, respectful, 5-star customer service Represent Brown's professionally in our customers' homes and throughout the community Position Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record High school diploma or GED Basic HVAC and electrical knowledge Ability to perform complete heating and cooling maintenance Ability to identify worn, failed, or potentially failing components Knowledge of the proper use of hand tools, HVAC testing tools, and electronic meters Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to clearly explain findings and recommendations Ability to take meaningful photos and enter accurate, detailed job notes Ability to accurately document equipment model and serial numbers Comfortable presenting repair, accessory, and membership options Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining good attendance Coachable and willing to participate in ongoing training Able to maintain a clean and organized truck and proper inventory Able to work in attics, crawlspaces, outdoors, and on ladders Professional appearance and ability to represent Brown's well Honest, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Comfortable using an iPad/tablet and service-industry software What We Offer We want Brown's to be a place where great employees can build a career, not just have a job.
