Job Description:
We are seeking skilled, dedicated and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing ductwork and ductwork accessories, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic. Proficient in using hand and power tools specific to sheet metal work. In-depth knowledge of sheet metal techniques and materials. Ability to read & interpret drawings and lay out duct for installation. Dependable with a good team attitude; able to work independently. Physical stamina and strength to lift 50 pounds and work in various environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Travel to job sites is required. Able to clear a security background check to obtain security clearance for badges to work on various government facilities in the area. OSHA-10 and/or OSHA-30 certification, First Aid/CPR certification, up-to-date 24 hour fall protection certification (all preferred but not required).
Education:
Approved apprenticeship course certificate, or the equivalent on-the-job experience with good references.
