Responsibilities:
As a HVAC Mechanic, your responsibilities will include: 1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing various HVAC systems and their components. 2. Diagnosing and fixing issues with boilers, chillers, split systems, package units, VRF, VAV, exhaust systems, and controls. 3. Performing regular preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure their optimal performance. 4. Troubleshooting complex HVAC issues and proposing effective solutions. 5. Ensuring all HVAC systems meet company standards and statutory regulations. 6. Collaborating with the construction team to ensure HVAC systems are integrated seamlessly into building designs. 7. Providing exceptional customer service, including explaining technical information to non-technical clients.Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you will need: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC mechanic, preferably in the construction industry. 2. Proven experience working with boilers, chillers, split systems, package units, VRF, VAV, exhaust systems, and controls. 3. Extensive knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair. 4. A strong understanding of HVAC system designs and their integration into building structures. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues. 6. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients. 7. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites. 8.
