Residential HVAC Installer

Responsibilities Install residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, Heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment. Design and build supply/return plenums, trunk lines and branch ducting. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation aligned with specifications. Conduct system testing using tools such as ohm/volt meters, refrigerant gauges and other HVAC diagnostic tools to verify proper operation and efficiency. Perform maintenance tasks such as equipment repair, component replacement, and calibration to uphold system longevity. Collaborate with team members and property owners to ensure seamless installation processes while adhering to safety standards. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports and installation logs for quality assurance. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC installations Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems.. Ability to operate a 2 person commercial vehicle safely for material transport and job site access. Knowledge of HVAC design principles combined with practical experience in system installation and maintenance. Mechanical experience is highly desirable for complex repairs or custom installations.
