Job Description

HVAC Service Technician Position Summary Roberts Energy is seeking an experienced, motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing Oil and Propane Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing residential and commercial HVAC equipment while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain oil, propane, and HVAC equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems. Install HVAC equipment and related components as needed. Troubleshoot system issues and recommend appropriate repairs or equipment replacements. Complete service calls accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment operation, maintenance recommendations, and repair options. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes, as well as Roberts Energy's safety standards. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner. Work with office staff to ensure timely completion of scheduled service appointments. Participate in an on-call rotation as required. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in HVAC service and installation. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience servicing oil and propane heating equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of HVAC systems, local codes, and industry best practices. Experience using HVAC service software is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Vermont Licensed Propane Piping and Service Technician (preferred). NORA Bronze or Silver (preferred) EPA Universal Certification (preferred) Benefits
