Our Expectations Start everyday on time, ready to work with heart, body and mind in the right place for a successful day Review jobs with foreman; load job and be on the road in 30 minutes or less from start of work day Arrive at worksite looking tight and right, meet the homeowner and conduct walk through to review job expectations prior to starting work Run an efficient and SAFE job site daily keeping you and your assistant(s) protected from fall, electrical, mechanical, chemical and other jobsite hazards. Stay in sync with homeowner throughout install keeping them informed of major decisions such as routing, positioning, noise levels, access needs, etc. Provide leadership, coaching and direction to your assistant(s) during the day, working to build the next generation of craftsman installers Follow fire off procedures and document start up data after completion of the installation Educate homeowner on new system once installed and conduct final paperwork required to complete the project. Perform all required administrative paperwork functions with accurate information and follow internal company processes Daily communication up and across the chain of command with assistants, foreman, coordinators, division manager and others on problems, opportunities, ideas, and all other needed information. You are an overall positive team leader living our values and successfully executing the mission. Minimum Skills & Certifications Sheet metal fabrication: transitions, ductwork etc. Gas pipe threading and assembly Low Voltage wiring & thermostat installation/programming Vac down and weigh in refrigerant Accurate and Complete Fire-Offs evaluating system performance Ability to work with little to no supervision Maintain excellent driving record Maintain professional presentation Electrical Trainee Card EPA Class II or Universal certificationAdvanced Skills & Certifications Full system ductwork design and layout Ability to understand and use ACCA Manual J & D 06A, 06B or 02 Electrical License NATE certification for gas furnace, air conditioning, heat pump Seattle Gas Piping License Physical Requirements 75% or more of day spent standing, walking, crawling, crouching, stooping, kneeling, lifting and operating tools Ability to lift 50
Comfortable working for extended periods in attics and crawlspaces Comfortable working in extreme environmental conditions including: wet and humid weather, working near mechanical or moving parts, working on a ladder or roof, working in extreme cold or hear, in and around electrical, explosive or toxic conditions with the risk of shock, explosions and/or inhalation of particles and fumes What we offer: Hourly rates ($30.00
