$25-$45(Depending on experience) About Mayster Heating and Air Mayster Heating and Air is a trusted HVAC contractor serving Lakewood and the greater Puget Sound area for 7 years. Our team is growing, and we're looking for skilled HVAC Installers who take pride in their craft and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. Job Summary We are seeking motivated HVAC Installers to install, troubleshoot, and commission residential and light commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with equipment installation, ductwork, piping, electrical connections, and system commissioning. This role requires strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently on job sites. Responsibilities Install and commission heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, air conditioning units, ductwork, and related components) per specifications and codes. Measure, cut, assemble, and install ductwork and piping; seal and insulate as required. Run electrical wiring, connect controls, thermostats, and low-voltage devices; ensure proper control wiring and safety compliance. Leak test refrigerant lines, evacuate, charge, and verify system operation; perform start-up procedures. Inspect work for quality and compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes; address deficiencies. Verify system performance, balance airflow, and optimize efficiency. Complete installation documentation, including as-built drawings, warranty paperwork, and service records. Maintain a clean and safe work site; follow all safety protocols and company policies. Communicate with customers about installed systems, features, and maintenance requirements. Collaborate with project managers and service technicians to ensure on-time project completion. Qualifications 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience (or equivalent technical training). Universal Refrigerant Certification (preferred). Valid driver's license
Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
