HVAC Service Technician (Residential) $30.00 - $35.00/hr + Flex Pay | Top Technicians Earn $75,000 - $110,000+ Annually Join a Company That Invests in Your Success Black Hills, Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, maintain, and service residential heating and cooling systems while helping customers make informed decisions about their home's comfort. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems Perform routine maintenance and system inspections Clearly explain repair options and recommendations to homeowners Deliver exceptional customer service on every call Maintain accurate job documentation and service records Collect payments when services are completed Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow all company safety standards and procedures Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of residential HVAC service experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience performing HVAC repairs and preventive maintenance Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to explain technical information in a way customers can understand Valid driver's license with a clean driving record EPA Certification preferred Construction or in-home sales experience is a plus Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to grow
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move HVAC equipment safely Comfortable climbing ladders and working in attics, crawl spaces, and confined spaces Ability to work in varying weather conditions Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the position Why Black Hills?
