We're looking for an experienced HVAC Installer who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with a team, and enjoys a variety of work including residential retrofit installs, new construction projects, and light commercial systems. Why Experienced Techs Choose Area Heating Performance-based SPIFF opportunities Company phonetablet provided 401(k) with company match Health Insurance (50% employer-paid for employee) Company-paid Life Insurance DentalVision coverage available 2 Weeks Paid Vacation Sick Time accrued at 1 hour per 40 hours worked EmployeeFamily Discounts Boot allowance Continuing educationlicense reimbursement Tool account assistance Advancement opportunities Consistent, year-round work across multiple divisions What You'll Do Install residential HVAC systems for retrofit/replacement projects and new construction homes Assist with light commercial HVAC installations and equipment replacements Install and modify ductwork systems for residential and light commercial applications Run refrigeration lines, gas piping, venting, and low-voltage wiring Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, mini splits, and related HVAC equipment Perform system startups, testing, and balancing to ensure proper operation and efficiency Troubleshoot installation issues and make adjustments on-site as needed Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and installation specifications Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, contractors, and team members Follow all company safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes Qualifications 3+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred Experience with residential retrofit/replacement installs, new construction, and/or light commercial work Valid driver's license with insurable driving record Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices and troubleshooting Experience installing: Furnaces Heat pumps Air conditioning systems Air handlers Ductwork systems Refrigeration piping Gas piping Understanding of low-voltage controls and wiring Ability to test, start up, and balance HVAC systems Ability to read blueprints and job specifications preferred Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Knowledge of HVAC codes and safety procedures Ability to work independently while staying productive and on schedule Pride in workmanship, professionalism, and customer serviceSimilar jobs in Vancouver, WA
