as a Residential HVAC Installer and become part of a growing team committed to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. We are looking for an experienced, responsible, and detail-oriented installer who takes pride in doing the job right the first time. In this role, you will install residential heating and cooling systems, ensure every installation meets manufacturer specifications and local codes, and represent Smart HVAC professionally at every customer's home. Duties Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, air handlers, and ductless mini-split systems Install refrigerant lines, condensate drains, gas piping, electrical connections, flue venting, and ductwork Perform equipment start-up, commissioning, and operational testing Verify proper airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical operation, and overall system performance Read installation manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer installation-related questions Complete installation documentation using a company tablet Follow company procedures, manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and safety standards Experience & QualificationsRequired Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience Universal EPA Certification Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Strong knowledge of residential HVAC installation practices Ability to install complete HVAC systems independently Experience with heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, air handlers, and mini-split systems Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation manuals Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments Sheet metal fabrication experience Preferred OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification First Aid & CPR Certification Washington or Oregon Electrical License Experience with inverter and communicating HVAC systems Why Join Smart HVAC?
