Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe environments across commercial and residential properties. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals passionate about property maintenance and technical service. Duties Install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems in various settings Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and appliances Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and perform equipment repairs efficiently Perform welding and mechanical repairs on HVAC components to ensure system integrity Assist with HVAC design modifications to improve system performance or meet new property requirements Maintain detailed records of all service activities, repairs, inspections, and parts used for compliance and future reference Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as plumbing or refrigeration Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC system diagrams accurately Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration units Experience with field service operations across commercial or residential properties Knowledge of appliance repair, property maintenance practices, and basic welding skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred Additional skills such as boiler operation, mechanical troubleshooting, welding expertise, or mechanic experience are highly advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in property care!
