About the Role As a Field HVAC Installer, you will play a vital role in ensuring optimal climate control solutions for our clients by executing high-quality system installations and repairs. You will leverage your technical expertise in HVAC/R systems and industrial controls to deliver reliable comfort, serving as a key technical resource for your team and a trusted advisor to our customers. Responsibilities Lead and mentor installation teams to ensure project success and adherence to high-quality standards. Assess customer requirements to recommend and install the most efficient HVAC equipment. Manage daily logistics, including inventory preparation and truck organization, to maximize field efficiency. Ensure all installations comply with OSHA, local, and state building codes and safety regulations. Perform complex technical tasks including soldering, gas fitting, system sizing, and venting. Maintain a professional, clean, and organized job site from start to finish. Document project progress and completion accurately through detailed service reports. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3+ years of professional HVAC installation experience. Proficiency in HVAC/R systems, troubleshooting, and industrial controls. Demonstrated ability to fabricate custom transitions on-site. Strong knowledge of local HVAC codes and practical application. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with inspectors and clients. Preferred Skills Active Refrigerant Handling Certification. Advanced training in HVAC maintenance and repair. Experience in collaborative team environments and technical mentoring.
