Beckley, WV Salary Range:
$24-$30 plus commission -based on experience Join a Team That Values Your Skills Childers Air Plumbing & Electric is seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. If you take pride in delivering top-quality work, enjoy solving problems, and like helping customers feel comfortable in their homes, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Run residential and light commercial service calls Diagnose heating and cooling system issues Repair and service: Furnaces Air conditioners Heat pumps Air handlers Thermostats Ductless mini-splits Perform routine maintenance and system safety checks Clearly explain issues, repairs, and recommendations to customers Provide repair and upgrade options when needed Complete service documentation (invoices, photos, notes) using company software Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle Follow all safety procedures and industry standards Deliver professional, on-time service while in uniform Participate in an on-call rotation as needed Work closely with dispatch and team members to complete jobs efficiently Protect customers' homes with proper care (shoe covers, drop cloths, cleanup) What We're Looking For HVAC service experience preferred Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, refrigerant, airflow, mechanical) EPA certification (preferred or required) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Ability to: Lift equipment Climb ladders Work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments Benefits & Perks Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle 401(k) plan Health benefits Paid vacation Year-round, steady work Supportive team environment Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Apply Today!
