Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician, where you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across diverse residential and commercial properties. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge HVAC projects, ensuring optimal indoor climate comfort and energy efficiency. As an integral part of our service team, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and field service experience to deliver top-tier solutions that meet client needs with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities Install, modify, and troubleshoot HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration setups. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to execute installations accurately. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Conduct system inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to identify issues quickly. Collaborate with property maintenance teams and other trades such as plumbing and welding to coordinate complex installations or repairs. Document all work performed, including detailed reports on equipment repair status and system modifications. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations during all phases of installation and service. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation or repair with a solid understanding of mechanical systems. Strong construction background with familiarity in schematics reading, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration, and ammonia refrigeration systems. Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, appliances repair, field service operations, welding skills, and property maintenance. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for troubleshooting electrical components. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving vehicles preferred. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), boiler systems, and mechanical equipment repair. Knowledge of safety protocols related to refrigerants like ammonia and handling of HVAC/R equipment in various environments.
