Ensure that buildings and HVAC equipment in assigned areas are maintained in proper working condition, operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all state and federal codes, insurance requirements, and manufacturer guidelines. Perform daily inspections to verify safe and reliable operation. Additionally, support plumbers, fellow HVAC technicians, carpenters, and electricians in maintaining and repairing all building systems and components.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform all prescribed maintenance and service on equipment per manufacturer, federal/state, insurance, and company requirements. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to minimize downtime; assemble and test machines to verify issues are resolved. Inspect HVAC equipment and facilities during operations, making necessary adjustments and notifying supervisors of any abnormalities. Record and document all maintenance activities in compliance with company standards; maintain historical logs and complete detailed work orders for billing. Conduct periodic testing and inspections to ensure safe, dependable operation of HVAC systems. Refer to technical manuals and safety procedures to ensure correct settings and compliance. Maintain HVAC inventory levels and notify supervisors of supply needs. Monitor propane systems and possess working knowledge of propane gas. Maintain clean, safe work areas and adhere to all company and manufacturer safety policies, including PPE use. Attend safety meetings, training, and stay updated through manuals and industry publications; collaborate with peers across properties. Interact courteously with guests and staff, assisting with concerns and providing timely service. Support other departments with equipment use and maintenance; respond to emergencies by knowing critical utility shut-off locations. Maintain and operate hot tub areas per HOA agreements; open/close facilities and ensure safety and cleanliness. Ensure security of Saflok master keys and hard key systems. Comply with Intrawest Driver's Standards Policy when operating company or personal vehicles for business use. Follow all HOA and Snowshoe Rental Program contract terms. Wear company uniform and maintain professional appearance at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Experience:
Must have good communication, organization, people and mechanical skills Experience in problem solving and troubleshooting 2 years as an HVAC technician with a universal HVAC license with EPA certification Knowledge of propane fireplaces and cable/satellite television systems Service Techs to be Licensed through the WV Dept. of
Labor Driving:
Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the
