PALFINGER

is searching for a Mid-Level Mechanic to work with our Production team. We are located in Birmingham, AL. This position reports to the Production Manager. Your Responsibilities Install/general assembly of various accessories, wiring, and components on truck bodies including toolboxes, lights, vices, and cranes. Perform functional testing of the crane and installed accessories. Work effectively within a team environment or on an individual basis. Partner with Production or Engineering teams to resolve mechanical, truck body, or electrical issues. Participate in the care and upkeep of the production shop and all equipment and tools. Perform other duties as assigned. Able to work overtime as needed. Your Qualifications Experience or proficiency in 12v or 24v wiring. 1 - 3 years of mechanical assembly experience (INTERMEDIATE). Basic math skills required and ability to use and read a tape measure. Must be physically able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 10-50 pounds periodically. Must be a team player and speak, read and write English.
