Summary:
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with hydraulics and pneumatics experience is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Manufacturing machinery. This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, replacing parts, and fabricating components. This role requires the ability to read and interpret diagrams and blueprints, a strong understanding of electrical systems. You must be willing to work overtime and some Saturdays, as required
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs general maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, small machines, heating and air system, plumbing, etc. Repairs and replaces parts of mechanical, electrical heating and air, plumbing systemsand machinery. Works from drawing to build equipment modifications. Devises methods to adapt available machinery for production requirements. Performs preventive maintenance on machinery and automation equipment. Must be able to read blueprints, machine drawings, etc. and be able to communicate directions, instructions, etc. in writing. Maintains building and grounds. Must be able to accommodate work hours which may fluctuate from time to time due to equipment breakdowns, machine installations, etc. Install, maintenance, and repair plant equipment, guards, grounds, etc. to improve the safety preparedness of the entire facility. Capable of performing preventative maintenance and repair on various plant powered equipment i.e., oiling, belt adjustment, painting, lubrication. Under guidance, the position aids with the installation, specialized repair and maintenance of equipment. Must be able to utilize common maintenance and repair tools such as various hand and power tools. This position is required to adhere to all safety and PPE requirements Able to operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens to safely troubleshoot equipment/automation. Basic understanding of how to use a Multi-Meter tool to test fuses, sensors, etc. Willingness to learn how to operate robotic controller pendant.
QUALIFICATIONS
One year certificate from college or technical school; or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Maintain a stationary position which may include Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting, reaching. Perform repetitive tasks using hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
Lifting:
Safely lift materials up to 25 lbs. unassisted. Heavier loads with additional assistance.
Work Environment:
Work safely near moving mechanical parts. Regularly work in an environment where the noise level is moderately loud. Ear protection may be required.
Weather Exposure:
Regularly work in various weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat. The Employer retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position. This is a safety sensitive position in a drug free workplace.
