Job Description

Assembly Worker Shift:

First Shift | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM About the Role We are looking for a skilled Assembly Worker to build custom modular structures and industrial equipment from technical drawings. If you have hands-on mechanical aptitude, experience with machining tools, and a strong eye for detail, this role offers steady work in a collaborative production environment.

Key Responsibilities Mechanical Assembly:

Assemble custom structures using aluminum profiles following technical specifications, engineering drawings, and instructions.

Machining Operations:

Execute precise machining tasks, including drilling, tapping, boring, and countersinking.

Technical Blueprint Reading:

Read and interpret technical drawings and digital blueprints using the metric system.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect assemblies for defects, perform required adjustments, and ensure high standards before passing products to final quality control.

Digital File Navigation:

Utilize CAD viewers or 3D PDFs to review and navigate digital project drawings.

Engineering Collaboration:

Partner with engineers to discuss design solutions and review structural layouts.

Field Service Support:

Perform occasional installation, repair, or adjustments on assemblies at company facilities or client sites as project needs require.

Shop Maintenance & Logging:

Keep accurate production logs, maintain an organized workspace, and carry out related shop duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements Blueprint Literacy:

Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering blueprints.

Metric System:

Familiarity with metric units and measurement tools is preferred. Mechanical Experience (Preferred): Background in metalwork and structural assembly. Experience with modular aluminum framing or tube & joint systems is a major plus.

Teamwork & Independence:

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both autonomously and alongside engineering and production teams.

Compensation / Pay

Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
