The technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while minimizing equipment downtime. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures.
  • Repair, replace, and adjust machine components, including motors, bearings, belts, gears, pumps, and conveyors.
  • Install, align, and calibrate new machinery and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Conduct inspections to identify equipment wear and recommend repairs before failures occur.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated production systems (preferred).
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments safely.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with ordering replacement components. Required Qualifications
  • Technical certificate or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Knowledge of 240/480, 3 Phase electrical systems a requirement
  • Ability to troubleshoot industrial machinery and production equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed. Preferred Skills
  • Welding and fabrication experience.
  • Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) troubleshooting.
  • CNC machine maintenance experience.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Forklift and aerial lift certification. Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
  • Work in manufacturing or industrial environments with exposure to noise, heat, dust, and moving machinery.
