Job Description
Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.
The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of manufacturing of space flight sub-systems and support equipment. Position Responsibilities Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis Assemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, and standard operating procedures Use precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers Perform visually inspect of Electro-Mechanical assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration and test procedures Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair Soldering and reworking of through-hole and SMT components Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating
