Majestic Steel What You Will Work On:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the reliability of production equipment by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on steel processing equipment Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, motors, conveyors, and production equipment Replace or repair components such as bearings, belts, motors, and gearboxes Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting (motors, controls, sensors) Perform fabrication and welding when needed Work safely using lockout/tagout procedures Support production teams during equipment breakdowns Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
What We're Looking For:
Experience maintaining or repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment Mechanical troubleshooting experience Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Ability to read basic mechanical diagrams or equipment manuals Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel occasionally
What Makes You Stand Out:
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Welding or fabrication experience Basic electrical troubleshooting, including motors, sensors, and controls Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Experience maintaining steel processing equipment such as slitters or cut-to-length lines Experience maintaining forklift or other material handling equipment Basic proficiency with MS Office and Windows-based computer applications Majestic Steel is America's domestic supply chain provider for rolled steel, and we're ready to tackle America's housing, infrastructure, job, and sustainability challenges now and into the future.
