Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our food production team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving a variety of food manufacturing and processing equipment while helping ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with industrial equipment, and takes pride in keeping production running with minimal downtime. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain food production equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.
Repair and maintain:
Industrial freezers Conveyor systems and conveyor belts Pasta production machines Industrial kettles Commercial kitchen equipment Packaging and production equipment Replace bearings, belts, chains, motors, pumps, valves, and other mechanical components. Perform building maintenance and facility repairs as needed, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA safety requirements. Work closely with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment issues. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvement projects. Qualifications Required 3+ years of industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience. Experience working on manufacturing or food production equipment. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and use technical manuals and equipment diagrams. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in hot, cold, wet, and refrigerated environments. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Preferred Food manufacturing experience. Welding and fabrication experience. Basic electrical troubleshooting (120V/240V/480V). Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. HVAC or refrigeration experience is a plus. $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
