Fabrication Helper / Shop Hand McGrath Metal Manufacturing Indio, CA Job Details Full-time $18.50 - $20.00 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Packing Forklift HVAC Manufacturing Picking & packing Hand tools Full Job Description Manufacturing / Fabrication Company in Indio seeking Shop Helper. Candidate must demonstrate previous employment and hands-on experience in either construction, HVAC, or any mechanical type of job.

Job duties will include:

Must have knowledge of basic hand tools. Deburring and Sand Blasting Metal parts. Assembling parts with hand tools. Connecting electrical and electronic components. Counting Parts and Packing Orders. Help lifting sheets and parts on and off laser cutter. Cleaning and light maintenance around the shop. Experience with operating a forklift would be useful. We will train you on the job, but you MUST be mechanically inclined, motivated, hard-working, willing to learn and drug-free. email greg mcgrathmetal.com for an application to proceed. Hourly Rate will be determined based on skill set: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour.
