full-time About the Role We are seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineerto join our team at Bell Gardens, CA facility. This is a full-time, on-site position. In this role, you will support the design, integration, and testing of structural and electromechanical components, systems, subsystems, and mechanical interfaces across a variety of projects. Responsibilities include system integration, verification, and testing in alignment with project requirements. You will collaborate with technical staff and project leads to plan, oversee, and execute complex engineering initiatives related to system and product development. This position supports multiple projects and may contribute to several programs within the organization. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff, helping to ensure successful project delivery and continuous team development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes in a well-established and growing food production environment. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced engineering concepts, techniques, and procedures to support multiple project teams in the selection and setup of technical equipment Perform complex engineering work in design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operation in support of system development, analysis, and research Lead reverse engineering of complex mechanical and electromechanical assemblies to develop repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures Evaluate mechanical environmental factors (e.g., shock, vibration, thermal) and implement mitigation strategies Prepare and review technical reports, status updates, memoranda, contract deliverables, and formal presentations Support and optimize production facilities and lines, including design, installation, modification, and testing, with a focus on lean manufacturing, process improvement, and automation initiatives Execute change management processes, including product updates and regulatory documentation Conduct design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and incorporate feedback Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of engineering project experience Experience in food manufacturing or a related production environment preferred Compensation & Benefits $80,000 - $100,000 annually, with final offer will depend on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
