PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic The Newark, CA plant is currently accepting resumes for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic . This position is responsible for general maintenance with mechanical and minor electrical skills. What is the Job? Understanding and knowledge of complex, pneumatic and/or hydraulic processes. Perform routine and schedule maintenance on process equipment to maintain uptime. Fabrication as needed. Perform inventory existing parts and report use for reorder. Maintain work area according to plant standard for safety, efficiency and cleanliness. Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two (2) or more years related experience and/or training. Regular attendance is required. Lift and/or move 60 pounds and more. What is the Pay? Pay Range depends on experience, which is determined through the interview process: $33.25 - $41.29 per hour (there are levels within this range). What is the Work Schedule? Must have open availability and Weekend availability is required. Typically, the shift is 6 am - 2:30 pm but in the event of long projects or emergencies, we may require longer shifts. Probability of Call-In, Overtime and Nights / Weekends. What We Offer!
