Job Description
Mechanical Design & Manufacturing Technician All Systems Electrical is looking for a Mechanical Design & Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This full-time position combines 3D CAD design, manufacturing, fabrication, and equipment assembly . The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working both at a computer and in a hands-on industrial environment. Responsibilities Create and revise detailed 3D models using CAD/CAM software, primarily Fusion 360 . Work with sales engineering and management to turn concepts into production-ready designs. Create design packages including 3D models, exploded views, parts lists, and documentation. Support fabrication and manufacturing activities as needed. Operate or assist with engraving equipment, laser cutters, and brake presses . Prepare materials for powder coating and assist with fabrication. Use hand and power tools to complete production tasks. Track materials, inventory, fabrication jobs, and production records. Assemble field control equipment and support other production needs. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Follow OSHA requirements, safety procedures, and PPE requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude and strong technical/problem-solving skills. Experience with 3D CAD software ; Fusion 360 experience preferred. Basic knowledge of measurements and measuring tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with common hand and power tools. Strong communication and organizational skills. Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Industrial electrical or controls experience is a plus. Requirements & Working Conditions Full-time, 40+ hours per week . Overtime and occasional weekends may be required. Approximately 5%-30% travel , including occasional overnight or extended trips. Ability to stand for extended periods and work in industrial environments. Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. when required. Ability to work around machinery, electrical equipment, noise, and varying job-site conditions. Must be able to wear required PPE.
