Job Description

Ebara Module Assembly Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pump Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting industrial pumps and related components to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and experience in manufacturing or assembly environments. Key Responsibilities Assemble pumps, subassemblies, and components using hand and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions Install seals, bearings, gaskets, impellers, and other pump components Perform torqueing, alignment, and fitting of mechanical parts Conduct basic testing and inspection of assembled units for quality and functionality Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or assembly issues Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety standards Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and production schedules Qualifications Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic math and problem-solving skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive hand movements Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with pumps, motors, or rotating equipment Familiarity with torque specifications and precision measurements Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing
