Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Compressed Air Installation Technician with a strong background in industrial piping and mechanical installation . This role focuses on installing compressed air distribution systems , including aluminum piping, drops, headers, and supporting equipment in industrial environments. This role will primarily serviced the greater Phoenix area and its surrounding cities. This position is ideal for someone who has worked in industrial piping, mechanical installation, or utility systems , and understands how clean, efficient compressed air systems are installed in active manufacturing or distribution facilities. You will work on projects that include new system installs, system expansions, relocations, and upgrades, partnering with technicians, project managers, and customers to deliver clean, professional, and reliable compressed air infrastructure. Key ResponsibilitiesCompressed Air & Piping Installation Install compressed air piping systems , including aluminum modular piping, steel piping, and associated fittings Lay out and install main headers, branch lines, drops, and point-of-use connections Mount and support piping systems using proper hangers, brackets, and supports Install and connect air compressors, dryers, filters, receivers, and related components Perform basic system pressure testing and leak checks after installation Jobsite & Project Execution Read and interpret installation drawings, layouts, and basic schematics Work safely in industrial environments including manufacturing plants and distribution centers Coordinate with customers, site supervisors, and internal team members Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Follow safety standards, lockout procedures, and PPE requirements General Mechanical Work Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and basic fabrication equipment Measure, cut, and assemble piping accurately Assist with equipment positioning, anchoring, and alignment Required Experience & Skills Experience in industrial piping, mechanical installation, or compressed air systems Familiarity with aluminum compressed air piping systems (modular blue piping or similar) Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms Comfortable working in active industrial facilities Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a crew Valid driver's license Preferred (Not Required) Prior experience installing compressed air systems Experience in manufacturing, food processing, logistics, or warehouse environments Understanding of basic compressed air principles Forklift or lift certifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
