Job Description

Position Summary The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic supports manufacturing operations by performing mechanical troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance on production equipment. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and maintaining safe, efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilitie s Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment and systems Perform equipment rebuilds, repairs, and new equipment installations Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work and retrieve maintenance data Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and plant expansion efforts Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organization, and safety Provide coverage across shifts and weekends as needed; may support leadership functions when required Qualifications Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in an industrial manufacturing environment (critical requirement) Experience in multiple mechanical disciplines such as welding, machining, fabrication, pipefitting, rigging, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor/pump alignment Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment documentation Comfort working at heights using ladders, scaffolds, or rooftops as required Dependable, safety-focused, and able to communicate effectively Schedule & Work Environment Must be available to work all shifts; training will occur on first shift with eventual assignment to second or third shift Overtime is expected, with workload varying based on projects and urgent needs
