View More Jobs Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 Torrance, CA, United States (On-site) Be the First to Apply Job Description As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 2 here at Honeywell , you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining aerospace components and systems with a focus on precision and quality. Your role is essential in supporting the production process and ensuring that assemblies meet required standards for safety and performance. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and quality of aerospace manufacturing operations, contributing to Honeywell's reputation for delivering reliable and high-quality aerospace products to our customers. Responsibilities
  • Assemble aerospace components and systems following detailed specifications and blueprints.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify assemblies meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly activities and report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and quality assurance teams to address assembly challenges.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience in aerospace or related manufacturing assembly environments.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment used in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions accurately.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
