This role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical components and systems to ensure product quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, proficiency with various small hand tools. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes while maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
Schedule:
5day x 8 hours/4day x 10hours. Flexible start time of 5-6am.
Pay:
$22-$30/hr Electromechanical Test & Assembly Technician Job Functions Assemble electromechanical devices under a microscope according to detailed schematics, technical drawings, and IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Conduct functional testing of assembled units using electrical test equipment such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and programmable logic controllers. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to accurately wire electrical systems. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to prepare parts for assembly. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during assembly or testing phases; document findings and implement corrective actions. Support quality control by inspecting assemblies for mechanical integrity and electrical functionality. Collaborate with engineering teams to review design specifications and provide feedback on manufacturability. Electromechanical Test & Assembly Technician Skills Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring, and electronic component placement. Mechanical aptitude with skills in machining, using calipers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment. Electrical experience including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and multimeters. Familiarity with manufacturing processes related to assembly and testing of electromechanical systems. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills for collaborating within cross-functional teams. This position is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality electromechanical products.
