Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job description United Concrete Products Inc. is a leader in producing precast concrete solutions for our customers. We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance department in Wallingford, CT. Job Responsibilities Perform crane maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections Provide support for the installation, startup and commissioning of new and used equipment Diagnose problems by operating or inspecting equipment with computerized testing tools Reads and interpret mechanical prints and diagrams Performs general preventive maintenance duties Interacts with vendors and outside service providers Maintains tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner Collects, analyzes and reports predictive maintenance data Completes documentation as needed Performs a wide range of essential duties requiring heavy lifting, awkward work positions, climbing ladders and frequent movement both within and outside multi-floor buildings Covers off-shift calls as needed. Attends work regularly and reliably

Required Skills :

3+ years of heavy equipment, maintenance and repair experience Positive attitude, motivated with mechanical aptitude Possess personal hand tools Have successfully completed appropriate mechanical certificate programs in repairs and service, or equivalent hands-on experience
