Middletown, DE. Job Summary We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician / Machinery Builder. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and building equipment from the ground up. Candidates should be comfortable using hand and power tools, reading basic blueprints or diagrams, and working in a fast-paced shop environment. Responsibilities Assemble industrial machinery and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively Install mechanical components including motors, bearings, conveyors, guards, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make adjustments during assembly and testing Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly diagrams Perform quality checks to ensure equipment is built to specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with machine testing, setup, and final inspections Follow all company safety procedures and standards Qualifications Mechanically inclined with strong hands-on skills Previous experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, fabrication, construction, automotive repair, equipment repair, or related fields preferred Ability to use common hand and power tools Basic blueprint or schematic reading experience preferred Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods Dependable attendance and positive attitude required Welding, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic experience is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
