Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Description In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining industrial equipment and machinery. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on various systems. Basic electrical knowledge is required. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Diagnose equipment issues and implement timely, effective solutions. Install, maintain, and repair machinery components and systems. Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Essential Skills Proficiency in hydraulic systems, including the ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic components such as pumps, cylinders, and valves. Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, wiring, controls, and basic PLC troubleshooting. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daytona Beach, FL.
