Full Job Description Job Overview:

As a nationwide recruiter, I represent an Elevator Client with need of ONE Elevator Troubleshooter (up to $65/hr) and ONE skilled Elevator Modernization Mechanics (up to $55/hr), and ONE skilled Elevator Service Mechanic (up to $55/hr), in the greater Miami area. The ideal candidate will have completed a formal apprenticeship, have either

NEIEP / CET

certification, and have 4+ years of experience in elevator installation, repair, and/or modernization of commercial elevators!

Requirements:

NEIEP or State Certified CET Highly preferred: Completion of a formal apprenticeship 4+ years of experience in commercial elevator installation, maintenance, and/or modernization Demonstrated expertise in commercial elevator modernization projects and upgrade installations Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience, with older relay logic systems and contemporary solid-state controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute comprehensive elevator system upgrades including drive mechanisms, control systems, and mechanical assemblies for hydraulic and traction configurations while ensuring seamless integration of new components during modernization projects Diagnose and resolve technical issues across both legacy and contemporary control platforms using advanced diagnostic equipment, technical documentation, and specialized programming tools throughout modernization processes Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications to plan modernization projects and perform precision installation of motors, braking systems, cables, and control hardware Conduct thorough safety inspections and compliance verification per established industry standards while maintaining detailed documentation of all work performed and components installed during modernization activities Collaborate effectively with property management, contractors, and clients to deliver project updates on modernization timelines, ensure satisfaction, and maintain adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements If this piques your interest and you are looking to make a change in your current environment, then let me know ASAP and be sure to send your most up-to-date resume , with your response!!
