Job Description

Production Mechanic Second Shift:
Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2am with OT available
Responsibilities:
Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers to support production needs Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on production equipment Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and reliability Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment breakdowns in a timely manner Dismantle machinery, replace or repair defective components, and reassemble equipment Install, maintain, and disconnect utilities including air, gas, water, steam, drain, and vacuum systems Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment efficiency and uptime Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of industrial mechanic experience in a manufacturing setting Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
Preferred Skills:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and documentation Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
