BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

  • Responsibilities
  • + Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Mechanical, Utilities and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
+ Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment. + May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines. + May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities. + Perform other duties as assigned.   • High School or Equivalent / Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position. +

  • 3 Years as a Service-Related Technician +
  • Preferred:
  • 3 Years Hospital Maintenance +

  • 1 Year High-rise Mechanical and/or Utilities systems +
  • Preferred:
  • Fifth-Grade Stationary Engineer's License
