m. We have partnered with a well-established manufacturing company in Northbrook that is looking to add a reliable and motivated Mechanical Assembly Technician to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with tools, and learning new skills in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform testing to positioners using hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and Allen (L) wrenches Read and follow blueprints and assembly instructions Assemble mechanical components accurately and efficiently Use basic computer systems to navigate work instructions and processes Maintain a clean and organized workspace Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals Qualifications Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred Comfortable using hand tools Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to read and write in English Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Self-motivated, dependable, and a team player Preferred (But Not Required) Experience with any of the following is a plus: Oscilloscopes Voltmeters Power supplies Gears, motors, or encoders #3299LID
