Qualifications/Requirements:
NEIEP certification / State CET / State Mechanic's License 5+ years of Elevator Mechanic/Technician experience, in elevator service / repair experience, with a proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctionsPreferred :
Previous Elevator Mechanic experience with rack & pinion / freight elevators OR tower cranes Able to teach junior Elevator Mechanics; able to work alone and as a team Valid driver's licenseKey Responsibilities Inspection and Diagnostics :
Conduct inspections on various elevator types and brands to identify faulty operations and recommend necessary adjustments or major changes.Installation and Repairs :
Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and other lifting equipment with precision and efficiency.Troubleshooting :
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, especially in urgent situations, and provide prompt solutions.Maintenance :
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.Emergency Response :
Respond quickly to emergency repair calls to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.Customer Service :
Communicate effectively with building owners and occupants, providing exceptional customer service.Recordkeeping :
