Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join a growing shop team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and tackling a variety of mechanical projects. Every day brings something different, from equipment repairs and fabrication to material handling and shop support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who is looking to grow with a stable company. Job Responsibilities Perform mechanical repairs on a variety of equipment and components. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assist with basic welding and fabrication projects. Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the shop (training available if needed). Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment. Perform routine shop maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of recent hands-on mechanical experience such as: Automotive repair Small engine repair Construction Manufacturing maintenance Equipment repair Or another mechanically focused environment Comfortable using a variety of hand tools and power tools . Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds or more throughout the workday as part of previous job responsibilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Dependable attendance and solid work history. Able to work safely in a fast-paced shop environment. Preferred Qualifications Welding experience. Forklift experience or certification. Experience performing mechanical troubleshooting and repairs. What We're Looking For Someone who takes pride in producing quality work.
