Job Description
About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a critical technical resource, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency for our high-output manufacturing machinery. You will leverage your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to drive continuous improvement and solve complex equipment challenges in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Execute advanced troubleshooting and repairs on 480V electrical systems, including complex PLC and drive configurations. Optimize the performance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated conveyor systems to ensure seamless production flow. Develop and implement proactive preventative maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime. Perform precision welding and fabrication tasks to support equipment modifications and structural integrity. Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to diagnose and resolve mechanical failures efficiently. Collaborate with production teams to enhance safety protocols and operational reliability across the facility. Required Skills Journeyman-level certification or equivalent professional experience in industrial maintenance. 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining complex manufacturing equipment. Demonstrated proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including high-voltage systems and industrial controls. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied industrial environments. Preferred Skills Direct experience with PLC programming and logic troubleshooting. Prior experience maintaining industrial robotics and automated production cells. Proven track record of supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.
