Not applicable. What You'll Tackle Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, engineering routers, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions/tolerances. Use torque wrenches with correct torque methods and sequencing. Verify critical features with precision measuring instruments. Operate grinders, jitter bugs, drills, and other hand/shop tools. Install thread inserts, keenserts, and various fasteners. Operate/troubleshoot electro etchers, hydro test pumps, and vacuum pumps. Move materials safely using fork trucks and overhead cranes. Record accurate labor data in the IDC system. Locate and follow current procedures in the "Available Documents" program. Maintain daily housekeeping and equipment cleanliness. Coordinate tasks and handoffs with your supervisor and coworkers. How You'll Be Measured Every component must conform to blueprint dimensions and stated tolerances, with moving parts operating correctly. Internal components are kept clean and preserved; finished appearance meets standards. All SOPs/WIs are followed; your area remains safe, clean, and organized. Must-Have Capabilities Proven mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments. High school diploma or equivalent required. One year of trade school, vocational training, or apprenticeship preferred (not required).

Monitor machine sounds to diagnose changes and respond appropriately. Accommodations as required for communicating with employees. Work Environment High noise from operating machines.
